Your Inventory and Ordering Process

(Part 3 - Your Master Supply List)

A significant part of a thorough ordering and inventory process is an updated master supply list. Why have one? In case someone other than who normally orders needs to order, it is easier and quicker to place orders when everything is in front of you, and typically the same items are ordered over and over. Either have your master supply list printed out and in an accessible place, or for the digital practices ensure that it is saved in a place that is easily accessible for the person responsible for the ordering. A master supply list is only effective it is kept up to date!!!

Your master supply list should have the supplier, item name, item number, pricing and any account login and password information as well as the rep’s name for the product if there is one.
